Royally Unseen is the mostly true story of a Black man coming of age in the high expectations of family and prejudice of America that explores the personas, masks, and secrets families create to protect, that often destroy instead. It’s a 60 minute solo play about judgement, abuse, love, anxiety, and forgiveness, written and performed by Alan White.
